²⁷ Then, beginning with Moses and going through all the Prophets, he interpreted for them all the passages from the Scriptures that pertained to him.

²⁸ As they approached the village to which they were going, he acted as though he would be going further. ²⁹ However, they urged him strongly, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening and the day is almost over.” And so he went in to stay with them.
